Atlas Obscura is throwing a really cool event this coming Saturday, 28 January 2017. They will transform the Roger Smith Hotel in Manhattan, NYC into a surreal space.

This event is inspired by the Surrealist and Dada movement in the 1920’s and 30’s.

Danny will be doing live body painting at this event (shh…don’t tell anyone).

Here’s a snippet of the event’s description:

Join us for a very special evening of most unusual revelations…

Be transported to a world inspired by the Surrealists of 1920’s and 30’s Paris and New York at this other-worldly, historically-inspired, intoxicatingly beautiful, one-of-a-kind art event created exclusively for the Atlas Obscura Society.

Enter the charming Roger Smith Hotel, built in the early 20th century as a traveler’s bastion of class and creativity. You’ll begin in the stunning penthouse that Buckminster Fuller once resided for a spell of inspiration and rest where you’ll enjoy complimentary Surrealist cocktails, cabaret-style musical acts, roving performance art, a Surrealist photobooth, and visionary film and poetry readings. When your fancy strikes you, you’re invited to have your subconscious read by a sultry fortune teller and be transported to one of the hotel rooms turned Surrealist portals for a secret performance. …

Tickets are still available on the event’s page.
